First Orbi-fleX Series Gearboxes Installed to Mobile Wood Shredder
During August, Wikov delivered the first two planetary gearboxes of the new Orbi-fleX catalogue series. Despite the fact these are catalogue gearboxes with a high extent of unification bringing substantially shorter delivery dates, specific customer’s technical requirements have been fully met. The gearboxes are intended for mobile wood shredders with roughest shredding conditions.
The highly efficient Orbi-fleX gearboxes will now undergo long-term tests on the mobile shredding equipment. Wikov is getting ready for using their own WiGuard remote diagnostic system in the Orbi-fleX gearboxes for 24/7 monitoring the drive unit, so the engineers may preventively respond to any changes in the gearbox performance.
